Class B Driver (LOCAL SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS) Passenger Endorsement Required

• As a Class B Driver for local school bus services, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school while ensuring their well-being. This role requires a valid CDL B license, a passenger endorsement, and strong communication and driving skills. Your core competencies in school bus driving and paratransit will be essential, while your premium skills in commercial driving will enhance your effectiveness. Experience with children and customer service will further support our mission to provide our students with a safe and reliable transportation experience. • Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class B school bus while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transport, including proper boarding and disembarking procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding schedules and any concerns.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the bus to maintain mechanical integrity and report any issues.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to students, fostering a positive environment.

  Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

  Pay: From $20.00 per hour

  Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Qualifications:

• Must have a flexible schedule
• Must be 23 years of age or older
• Must have at least 12 months of verifiable Class B experience in the past 3 years; NO recent grads
• Must have a valid CDL Class B driver's license
• Must have a current Medical card
• Must have a Passenger Endorsements
• Must be able to pass a DOT Pre-Employment drug screen & a criminal background check
• No more than 2 DOT accidents, suspensions, or moving violations in the past 3 years
• No DUI / DWI / Criminal Background
